Menu Plan | Week of February 10, 2014
I have really been lacking in motivation the past week or two. I haven’t been on a run in over a week. Not so good when I have already registered for my first marathon this fall. To get my run in I really have to get up at 5 and hit the treadmill. The problem: my bed is just too warm and cozy and it’s hard to convince myself to head to the treadmill in the dark, cold basement. This week I have enlisted the help of a friend who is going to text me at 5 on the days I want to run and I’ll text her when I get up and start my run. Having some accountability to someone else will make me more likely to myself out to bed. I hope.
I think getting up earlier will really help my motivation all around as it will give me time to get in a Bible Study and a little quiet time before everyone else gets up. Plus, I always do feel better after I do an early morning run. I feel more accomplished the whole day.
Next week I’ll let you know how it went!
