Weekly Menu Plan Week of Feb 18, 2013
Happy Monday! We have a long weekend again this weekend as L has today off for President’s Day. Staying home all day where it is warm sounds nice! We’ve had another cold snap this weekend but it was sunny which was really nice!
This month I have been really trying hard to stick to my budget of $100/week, not including non-food items. I am glad to say I have been doing well so far! It has not been easy and I have had to put a couple items back but I think I will be able to stick to it this month! We might set aside $50/month for our bulk purchases because I do buy a lot of things in bulk.
Here’s what we will be eating this week:
Monday: Curry Tofu Tacos with Pintos
Tuesday: Potato Soup or Baked Potatoes
Wednesday: Breakfast for dinner. Pancakes of some type
Thursday: Chickpea Nuggets with steamed broccoli
Friday: Homemade Pizza
Saturday: Spaghetti and “No Meatballs”
Sunday: Thai Coconut Chicken made with soy curls

wow great for sticking on your budget…i am not the best with that…i buy a lot of things in bulk too..we joked when the world was to end everytime someones says that…my home is the place to be…pantry and closests stocked. lol
