What I Ate Wednesday
I am finally back for Jenn’s What I Ate Wednesday party! WIAW is actually one of my favorite posts to do but I always forget to take pictures of what I eat throughout the day! This time, I remembered the majority of my meals and snacks so I was able to join in the fun.
This month Jenn’s theme is Falling into Good Habits. One of the habits I am focusing on right now is drinking more water. I am REALLY bad about drinking water throughout the day.
Here’s most of what I ate yesterday:
Breakfast was one of the things I forgot to take a picture of. I had oatmeal with peanut butter, banana, soymilk, and a little maple syrup. This is pretty much what I eat every morning. I also had a slice of toast with a little Earth Balance.
Mid-morning I had a cup of Lipton Superfruit green tea.
Lunch was some leftover bean chili with salad
Dinner was whole wheat sourdough waffles (based on this recipe from King Arthur), tempeh sausage scrambles, and strawberries

I saw this great pin on Pinterest the other day to help keep track of water intake throughout the day. They were water bottles with line markers on them that told you how much water you should drink by a certain time of the day. I thought it was such a good idea, maybe one you’d want to try?
