Menu Plan Monday
Fall really made an appearance this weekend. Cool mornings and evenings with sunny afternoons in the low 70s. Beautiful weather!
Apparently the fall weather made me ready to do some baking! Today I did some serious damage in the kitchen. I made chili and homemade mozzarella sticks. I also made this great bean dip from Aggie’s Kitchen. I omitted the cheese except for about 1/4 cup vegan cheese mixed in. Delicious! I also tried a couple new bread recipes including a multigrain sourdough. The sourdough turned out well but was pretty labor intensive so I won’t be making it very often!
I am feeling fallish so I have a definite fall theme for the menu this week.
Monday: Potato Dumplings
Tuesday: Carrot Soup with Roasted Bok Choy
Wednesday: Sourdough Waffles
Friday: Homemade Pizza Night
Saturday: Crockpot Lentil Soup
Sunday: Not sure yet! Maybe chili again (I leftover from today that will probably go in the freezer)
