Menu Plan Monday
We, like everyone else in the world, have been watching the Olympics. Because of this our living room has become a gym. The couch cushions are now mats are the ottoman is being vaulted over. My 5 year old wants to be a diver, swimmer, and gymnast. It’s fun to see the Olympics through the eyes of children. When your life has yet to unfold and you have yet to experience the disappointment of failures. To truly believe that you really can be anything you want to be. As a parent, my job is to build their confidence, teach them to make right decisions. My job is to feed their creativity and never let them doubt themselves. My job is to fill their hearts with love.
And fill their bodies with all they need for good health and strong bodies.
Here’s what I’m filling my family with this week:
Monday: I made a zucchini bake with a quinoa crust. I’ll be sharing that recipe on Wednesday.
Tuesday: Tacos or Red Bean Burgers
Wednesday: Hubby requested Morningstar Veggie Dogs this week. Thankfully they are on sale at Kroger this week.
Thursday: We didn’t have the Lentil and Potato Dal last week so we’ll have that this week.
Friday: Homemade Pizza Night
Saturday: Spaghetti and Meatballs
Sunday: Family Reunion Potluck
